Now in their second year, Insider’s Yorkshire Business Tourism Awards recognises those organisations and venues really go that extra mile to bring more business into Yorkshire, celebrating the very best of Yorkshire's burgeoning business tourism industry, which represents 23 per cent of the region's gross domestic tourism and 29 per cent of inbound tourism.
The Business Tourism awards will coincide with the Northern Venue Exhibition at the Royal Armouries and will mark the end of the exhibition for show exhibitors and their staff providing a serious showcase for the very best companies, venues and individuals the Yorkshire business tourism sector has to offer.
The 2009 event will be held on 19 March at The Royal Armouries in Leeds.
There are nine award categories for large venue of the year (capacity over 350), small venue, unique venue, best business hotel, corporate hospitality, new venue of the year, personality of the year, team of the year and the grand prix award, which is selected as an overall winner from the other categories.
