The digital community in Yorkshire contributes £1.2bn to the economy and, as the industry has grown, so has the awards dinner, reflecting the maturity and status of this exciting sector.
The Yorkshire Digital Awards are now in their tenth year. In 2008 the Digital Awards saw a record number of entries and found a new home in the Saviles Hall at the Royal Armouries where 350 members of Yorkshire’s digital community came to celebrate the year’s successes and network.
Attendees at the dinner include companies who have entered the awards, previous years’ winners, digital business parks, new media companies and the public sector.
Insider works with our headline sponsor Yorkshire Forward and multiple media and digital networking organisations to ensure that all of Yorkshire’s digital community are aware of the awards and the benefits of potentially winning to their business.
For the first time this year we will be inviting the Insider readership to nominate Yorkshire digital companies that they have worked with that they feel excel in their field.
This year’s event takes place on 7 May 2009 at Saviles Hall, The Royal Armouries Museum, Leeds.
